Ever since I asked for a computer when I was eight, I've had a passion for technology. From learning BASIC as a child (On my Commodore Vic20), building custom systems for family and frends, to working with Cloud Infrastructure, Kubernetes and AI. I've always enjoyed learning new technologies and concepts.
Through the years, I've learned many new skills as technology advances. Around the year 2000, I started expermenting with Linux. A few years later I moved my my daily systems to Linux. I've had personal home servers over the years hosting internal IRC servers, firewalls, proxies and internal websites. Currently, I'm focused on Linux, Cloud, Docker and Kubernetes. Most is for work as I lead a squad of Cloud Computing gurus and together we ensure the avability of IBM's enterprise learning systems. The below hints and tips are based on recent technologies. There may be some oldied but goodies as well.
